Join Weight Watchers---the most successful program out there and those who lose keep it off because they learn how to eat healthy without crash diets and other harmful stuff. You can go to meetings for support and to meet people just like you-cost approx 15,every time you go and you can either buy prepared food meals or can go on line and get recipes but I'd start by buying meals esp. if you work. The trick to exercise is not hard but duration-----find something you like-walking,jogging,hiking,swimming,dance,etc and then do it approx 1hr per day-begin 5-6 days a week-idea if you enjoy won't feel like exercise and you won't have to push yourself but look forward to doing-trick is do for 1hr-anything less will take a long time-to lose weight-sweat.

If you're a bad dieter try eating 6 tiny meals a day, eat every two hours. You have to eat small, though, and healthty, or it wont work.
ex.
9:00 am - a banana and hot tea with milk
11:00 am - half a chicken breast and some kind of veggie
1:00 pm - the other half of the chicken breast and a peice of bread
3:00 pm - grilled corn on the cobb
5:00 pm - half a burger (you can have the bun) and a small salad
7:00 pm - a fistful of nuts, an apple, and a glass of milk

The basic idea is to eat a fist sized portion of protein and a vegetable. Bread is allowed. Eat even if your not hungry. Trust me, it works.

Weight loss is gradual, so dont expect to start sheeding pounds immedeately don't fall for diet pills because they don't work. Encouragre yourself to exersize by doing exercise that you enjoy'like swimming or hikeing. try bikeing or walking instead of driveing. to eat right, find healthy foods you like,a fav pasta recipe or some frut smoothie that you love. Try to eat thease foods instead of high calorie junk. stay away from soda at all costs, and drink juce, milk ,tea, or water instead.Remember, weight loss is only doable if You set your mind to it. Good luck :-)

it's not only food that you're going to have to cut down on but certain kinds of foods. smaller portions, drink lots of water and key is to exercise at least 4 days a week for at least half an hour. it's usually 3 days a week but if you don't go on the fourth day at least you've the minimum! and don't eat after 9 or 10 pm!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

I like the Fat Smash Diet. You eat fruits and veggies for two weeks and then gradually add in other things. It's a good way to start portion control, which is my problem.
