After a search on the internet I saw nothing that linked Morris & Bendien with a lady by the name of sandy. That doesn't mean she didn't work for them, I just can't find a record of her.

The best way is to contact a local museum or art director and bring them the item. They have people who can appraise items for a small fee and sometimes free.
