我是一個三十多歲的上班族,
目前剛到進口消費品公司擔任企劃工作,
需與國外書信往來與偶爾接電話,急需要使用商用英文
(含說聽讀寫),
我尚算有初級的英文底子(當然不是好啦！)

東方人奮進英語不過要的是老美五, 六歲娃兒的語言的本知本能;
然在台灣此項英語的本知本能, 在國內及國外的英語的教學商業集團的聯合把持下, 把個英語的本知本能完全給綁架一空 ; 徒剩雙語教學, 數位教學, 電腦教學, 文法密集班, 等跟語言的本知本能八竿子不相關的東西; 此種匪夷所思的教學唯一的成果是; 自幼及長, 英語教材成車來裝, 英語的補習費與皇子不遑多讓; 但看在有心人的眼裡, 仍嫌過去英語系所的為害不夠深刻, 不夠壓服覺醒者的不平; 於是 成立英語教學系, 以更了不起的大學課程來壯大聲色; 以廣設教; 以杜悠悠之口; 若國人皆能回歸是非理性: 老美五 ,六歲之資優娃兒能通閱書報者所在多有; 至魯者八, 九歲亦能初覽書報, 當對是否彼等因通過了英語教學系的大學課程綱要,才獲此英語的能力? 或者是直接通過英語語言的本知本能的開啟? 只要國人以理性思之, 答案立然可判! 此偽學之所以惡, 乃其教典中始終不承認人的語言的本知本能(其偽學乃所以立之基也; 因人根本無語言的本知本能, 故奮進英語唯依托人建立的學問也); 凡將英語之本知本能演化為專門大學問者其心可誅, 何曰不宜?!

而不是用「cable car 」
我看捷運上的英文是用gondola

已查閱知識中所有相關的回答了，只是對於課本上的問題有所疑惑，因為課本內的句子完全都使用非限定的用法讓我覺得有些怪怪的，請英文高手幫我解答疑惑吧！感激不盡！

下列的句子要用關代合併:
1. Christopher Columbus was an explorer.
He discovered America in 1492.
課本解答：
Christopher Columbus was an explorer who discovered America in 1492.

2. Jackie Chan is a famous action movie star.
He has made many exciting Kung Fu movies.
課本解答：
Jackie Chan is a famous action movie star who has made many exciting
Kung Fu movies.

問題一：（為何以上兩種句子是以限定用法回答？
Christopher Columbus 和 Jackie Chan 不是已經很清楚說明只有這一位人物了，並沒有很多而必須要用限定的用法來區分，為何課本解答是這樣寫？是寫錯嗎？）

3. Kangaroos live in Australia. They carry their babies in pouches.
課本解答：
Kangaroos live in Australia which carry their babies in pouches.

4.The Taipei Zoo has many different animals. The zoo is in Mucha.
課本解答：
The Taipei Zoo has many different animals which is in Mucha.

問題二：（為何還是以限定用法回答？關代之前不是一定要是先行詞嗎？這是屬於補充說明的用法嗎？如果是為何不是非限定的寫法？）

課本解答：
I bought some CDs that were very expensive.

6. Fu Lung Beach is a great place. It's on the east coast of Taiwan.
課本解答：
Fu Lung Beach is a great place that is on the east coast of Taiwan.

問題三：（第5句為何以限定用法回答？其正確中文意思為何？再者第6句中的
Fu Lung Beach 很清楚只有一個，為何要用限定的用法？且疑問與問題二一樣，可以在that前加逗號變為非限定用法作為補充說明之用嗎？）

此題不考慮(A)選項，請解釋(B)(C)(D)三選項。

疑問：
A選項，依照這題題意，應是你會"被"這個天氣殺害(約略翻譯)，get+ O.+ p.p.， 如果文意是被動就用過去分詞。為什麼答案會是D選項？

疑問：
此題應為獨立分詞構句，我還原的原句→

依照規則，應是把if刪除、動詞變分詞(由於S.不一致所以保留S.)，但是答案給的是風馬牛不相及的(D)選項？請問以上的想法有任何錯誤嗎？

Every state also participates in the National Assessment of Educational Progress(NAEP)-the Nation’s Report Card-allowing policymakers and parents alike to compare progress. “the premise of NCLB is clear and essential,” said former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens. “All children can learn. Not just children from homes of privilege, children from suburbia or children from a certain ethnic background.”
Federal resources have been increased to match this enhanced role. Total federal funding for NO child Left Behind rose 34 percent between 2001 and 2006. Funding for Title I schools serving low-income students rose 45 percent. States and school districts also have unprecedented flexibility in how they use federal funds in exchange for greater accountability for results.
“NCLB has helped by setting very clear, very high achievement targets for all students,” said Washington, D.C., public schoolteacher Jason Kamras, the 2005 National Teacher of the Year. “I think that’s an incredibly positive step in America public education.”
