I'm driving to Florida from New Jersey with my family on Monday, February 12th to visit a gravely ill family member and I'm looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay at for one night in the middle of the trip. Looking for something close to Interstate 95. Thanks for your help!

My husband, daughter, and I would like to go on a weekend trip this spring. We live in Mobile and don't want to drive more than a few hours to get where we are going. We like sightseeing and staying at bed and breakfast inns. We are looking for vacation ideas other than going to the beach because we visit the beach often.

My family and I have been debating one wether or not to move to Oregon. I want to be by the ocean, but my mom is worried about all the rain and the crappy weather up there. I know Atlanta is a vibrant city but how is it faster than Baltimore. The city is up north compare to Atlanta is comcern and Baltimore is close to major east coast cities I know DC has a faster pace than Bmore. So how is Atlanta is faster?

When I lived in ATL, I could drive anywhere for the weekend, Savannah was about 3 hours away, New Orleans was about 5 hours... Nashville was close... there were tons of places to go! But now, I'm stuck. I'm tired of driving to Indy and Cinncinati. What else is there? I don't want to go camping... any ideas?

I was wondering what the approximate cost of a roadtrip across the country would be. We would be setting out in Maryland and going the northern route to Cali and then taking the southern route back. Of course, we want to keep it cheap. We'd most likely be camping, eating out of a cooler, fishing once in a while, and not sleeping in any hotels. So with gas, about how much do you think it would cost?

Also, how long do you think it would take if we wanted to stop and see the sights? I was figuring 3 to 5 weeks.
