I might be moving to America and wondered if I needed another car license, or will a european license do?

My girlfriend and I have been together for 1.5 years and have been struggling recently with being together openly. However, we're going away this weekend to VT...does anyone know any spots we should go to for fun where we can be open and comfortable?

My brothers & sisters and I want to send my parents to Yosemite for their 50th wedding anniversary. We dont want to send them there when its snowing, or too cold, and we dont want to send them there when there is a lot of traffic. Can anyone PLEASE recommend a good time to send my parents there? the family is going to be moving within a couple of years, and we're trying to find something that isn't so expensive. mom says she's wanting to go for something on the edge of town, kind of in the country for our animals, and maybe a three-five bedroom home.

If I'm driving from the east coast of MD to the west coast in CA and back, do you think three weeks would suffice if I wanted to do the trip along with moderate site-seeing along the way, or should I plan for more time?

If I wanted to go there to lounge around on beaches -- when would and wouldn't be good times of year for that? How much does it differ from area to area?

(We have family there, and I'm thinking of throwing out the idea of a trip.)
