The govt calls it CCAFS. At least that is what is on my badge for going into restricted areas. It stands for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Kennedy Space Center is only a part of the military instillation. You have weapons development test centers, bunkers, a tourist area, a launch area, test firing areas, etc... By the way, it is N.A.S.A., not nassa. Go check out nasa.gov It is a free web site. You won't learn about top secret projects, but it is educational as far as the space program is concerned.
