I would choice texas, good education, a pride filled state, and you can have a bit of everything! The south has the ocean, the north has hills and some snow, the mid east has the farms and plains, and the west has the dessert. Also There is still room in texas! Growth and the living expenses are not too bad yet and its up to par with the technology! You can live in a city but still have that home town feel.

Oregon, without a doubt. Oregon is beautiful and has so much to offer in terms of outdoor recreation. I find Texas and Arizona way too hot, weather-wise. The only place in Texas I find interesting is Austin, but it's still too hot there. I'm a Northern California girl, so I'm a bit biased towards our lovely neighbor to the north.

I would choose Texas because I'm a sun lover. It can get very hot but thats the way i like it. Also there is some great mexican food in texas. oregon is beautiful but it rains too much. Arizona is hotter than hell, and ugly.

Bend/Central Oregon. Portland is too wet, Eastern Oregon too desolate, but Bend has great weather, beautiful scenery, and enough large city amenities, without being a large city.

Arizona. Beautiful in its nature. Plus I am fascinated by the Native American culture and history there. Not to mention the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine.

I would say Oregon. I have always wanted to live there. It is absolutely beautiful. It has a variety of weather, and it seems that there is a lot to do there.

I would prefer to stay in Ohio, but if given your choice I would pick Oregon because I don't like the stifling heat and it would have four seasons and be more wooded.
