I do know a site thats quicker than Map quest: "Free Trip" will do quicker & don't have to wait for any page loading. This be a professional site.
I love using this site. You Have a choice of Any Route Preferences: Avoid Tolls? or Favor Scenic Roads? then you can
Select Facilities Along Your Route (limited to .

My Second choice be: "Switch board"
At switchboard you can pick up to 6 stops along the way of any sort by inserting an address of residence or business.

Google directions are only neat since give the amount of feet up someones driveway whereas the others don't.

yeah....but these days i need to find a dog and cat sitter first but yeah, i do a roadtrip at least twice a year and usually do 4 or 5 day trips a year also. sometimes you just have to get out of the city and see some random stuff. me and my lady always go to denver at least once a year and take 3 days to get there even though it only takes 1 long day's drive. we'd rather mess around and not take the interstate and see roadside attractions like the monument to andy the footless goose. i want to see some random non-turisty parts of mexico. but probably wont. BQ: Driver BQ2: stop a lot and see all the random roadside attractions BQ3: Tent BQ4: "camping" BQ5: Pack a cooler...i'm a vegetarian, there are some towns that have nothing but snickers and pixie sticks for me. BQ6: the "pretend like a stop is more sudden than it is boob grab" game

Yahoo Maps, Google Maps or Rand McNally.

Mapquest gives more WRONG directions then any of the other sites.

I usually run maps from two sites and compare. Make sure you do reverse directions as well because sometimes the route out is different then the route in.

Visit Mapquest and type in the starting address and destination.

It will provide directions, including mileage between each turn-off and a map.

Hey, folks, no one mentioned AAA! Get their great maps and figure it out yourself, so you don't have Mapquest to blame (I rarely use Mapquest). And if you're caravaning in a group somewhere, don't forget these tips...

mapquest.com or Yahoo! Maps. Or you could go to Best Buy and buy one of their many road trip planner programs.
