We will be flying into DC next month and have decided that renting a car might not be a good idea. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can sightsee DC with a 6 month old baby? Also, will taxis allow me to ride with a baby on my lap(Is this even legal)? thanks.

My mom, sister, grandma, and I are traveling to Las Vegas in the end of August. We are staying in NYNY and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions. My grandma is in a wheel chair, so we have to keep that in mind when doing things outside our hotel. We will only be there for two full days, so I know we won't be able to do everything- but we wanted to take my grandma who loves to play slots! So I'm specifically looking for things to do at our hotel or near our hotel!

I am 16 years old now and I am going to college in just two years. I live in the suburbs of Chicago now but I've wanted to move to San Diego for as long as I can remember. College seems like the perfect chance. I have two years to make this decision and I want to make the right one. I can either stay here and go to college, living at home or move to san diego alone, at 18 years old and do something for me for once. I have done some research about San Diego and the one thing that I have learned is how expensive it is. So I guess my overall questions are...
A.) Is leaving my family at such a young age to go live across the country worth it?
and
B.) What is the least expensive yet nice area for a college girl to afford? I am going to find a roommate so I'm not planning on living alone.

I am 27, single and really want to live an a fun area where younger professionals live and by that I mean preferrably not the college crowd. Please let me know, as I am not at all familiar with the neighborhoods. I am also possibly looking to purchase a condo. I want to go for 2 nights. I am coming from the LA area. I will be driving to Las Vegas. I do not want to spend a lot on a hotel room, but I want to be on the strip. Do you have any suggestions. We'll depart Friday and leave on Sunday, so I guess that gives us about 1.5 to 2 days visitng time.
1st question) Will that give us enough time to visit BOTH parks?
2nd question) If I were to only choose one park, which should I choose and why?

We're just visiting the park(s) to see the overall best and famous sites; we're probably not going to cover every single mile inside the parks, so keep that in mind.
