Im going to La on Friday morning from the Amtrak routes. I'll be hitting LA around 9ish and i need to get to LA convention center. What would be the best way to get there besides Taxi?

I also need a route back on Saturday night at 11ish at night. Im not considering walking on SAturday night.

But is there any public transportation from LA's Union Station (amtrak) to Convention Center? Its my first time in La.

Has anyone stayed at the Anaheim Islander Inn and Suites? I'm thinking about staying there on an upcoming trip to Disneyland and have been looking online for reviews. If you have stayed there, how is the location? Very close to the park? Are the rooms clean? Is the staff friendly? If you didn't enjoy your stay, do you have any other reccomendations?

I am considering moving to either Portland, Oregon for graduate school. I wonder if anyone has information on Lewis and Clark College, and what life is like in Portland as a young professional. I recently got a phone call about some new timeshares, in las vegas that the hilton has. I am in the hilton honors bullcrap so they offered me 3 nights and 4 days at a suite at their timeshare property for 49 bucks and 40 more if it is on the weekend. That is the entire stay, at most for 3 nights together is 89 bucks as long as you agree to look at the timeshares and have somebody throw a sales pitch at you (I know how that goes...). It is just me, my girlfriend and a timeshare guy on our own. We have to go to that to get the price but I don't know. I have the money to stay anywhere but this seems like a really good deal. I am just wondering if anybody knows where it is, and if I should take it or not???
