How long would it take, on an average weekday, to get from White Plains, NY to the Grand Central terminal station in New York City?? Or, where would I be able to find that information? I just got a job in Manhattan and I'm thinking of moving to White Plains, but I don't want to keep my car. Thanks!

I am looking for a vacation that will be inexpensive and suitable for teenage girls? Possibly a amusement park? Any ideas...great beaches, malls, road trips? Has to be in the northeast.Ex.. new york, new jersey,virginia,maryland,pennsylvania....? No boring stuff at all!!! Like something similar to a six flags but different....there girls so there has to be luxury things around! So I'm gonna be in Vegas tonight (thursday), friday, and saturday night. Plan to club 1-2 of those nights..hell maybe even all three nights. My girlfriend and I, and our group are all in our early 20s..we're not in the singles scene looking for a third party or anything, but still want to have a good time dancing and good atmosphere etc...Hopefully not feeling like a Sardine all night. Any club recommedations on clubs for those nights? (I know that some clubs are packed and then dead on other nights).

I'm told you have to be at least 21 to rent a car. I'll be frequently traveling to New York/California areas, would anyone know of any way whatsoever, I could aquire a car for a week's use. I could just drive but I live in Florida so I really wouldn't want to put all that mileage on my car. If not is there any way I could have someone older co-sign from afar?

I am currently not in USA. I will be relocating to Houston in 6 months time. My employer has offered me salary of 60K annual + 10-15K bonus (70-75K total package) along with Health Insurance for family.

I will be moving with my wife (2 person family) Please guide me what would be my average expenditure per month in houston for average style living.

1) Apartment Rent (1-2 BR)
2) Food (If mostly cooked at home) & groceries
3) Utility bills (electricity, water, gas)
4) If i buy a car on installments (btw i have no idea of car prices in US. A decent second hand car will be ok for me), car insurance.
5) Any other major expenses..

How much should i expect to save after all expenditures if i have average living style?

Btw i dont have any idea how much taxes would be deducted from my salary? Say if my salary is 5K per month, how much taxes will be deducted if i am married and my wife is not working.

Is 70-75K per month in houston a good salary keeping in mind the living cost
