Galveston is near Houston but it is no comparison to Panama City Beach. The water is beautiful emeral green. The wind doesn't blow you away like Galveston does. Oh! and the beaches are so white like Sugar.

My husband and I are going to Honolulu in a couple of weeks. Do you have any suggestions on restaurants that are "not to be missed"? We will be eatting out breakfast, lunch and dinner. Price is not an issue for dinners. We would like some more economical breakfast and lunches. Dinner restaurants with a good bar are a plus!!

I think i have decided to stay at Ceasars Palace this summer for my honeymoon but when looking at photos the standard rooms look a bit boring/normal/small compared to the higher grade rooms but these are over my budget! Any info re hotel rooms at this hotel would be great. Do they have good views and what are the chances of a free upgrade??! Or are Mandalay rooms better?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be spending one night in Detroit on Saturday 1/27. I have no purpose in going to Detroit other than an insane frequent flier promotion with the airline I usually fly. I have not selected a hotel yet but am thinking about the Marriott at the Renaissance Center. Looking for ideas of things to do that Saturday night.

Looking for a rock and roll, rockabilly or punk type band, and will consider the casinos too. Local bands are great and I always like checking out new indie acts but I do not usually enjoy rap or hip-hop or trance.

Not interested in museums or anything for this trip.

Any recommendations for entertainment that night, or would you recommend a different hotel? I am not made of money but I am able to pay for a 4-star hotel.

My wife and I are visiting this weekend, and I wanted to get some feedback from some people who have actually been here and have a favorite area of the park that they like to visit. The road to Clingman's Dome is closed, so we can't do that, but we'll definitely visit Cades Cove. Anywhere else in the park that we shouldn't miss?
