Galveston is near Houston but it is no comparison to Panama City Beach. The water is beautiful emeral green. The wind doesn't blow you away like Galveston does. Oh! and the beaches are so white like Sugar.

It is the only place in Florida where the beaches have what they call "sugar sand". I have lived in Florida all my life but I live in the Tampa Bay area. My father-in-law lives in Panama City Beach though. It has always been a beautiful place. I used to go there when I went to college in Tallahassee many many years ago.
