My Asian parents are interested in moving to Texas after they retire in a few years, and I might consider moving there someday too. What's it like being Asian in Texas? Which cities are the most Asian-friendly and/or have large Asian (esp. Chinese) populations?

Serious replies only, please.

I'm going to Disney in April with my family and am looking for some teacher discounts for Disney park tickets. I know about the discount for the Swan and Dolphin, it's the park passes that worry me. Has anyone ever bought from Mapleleaftickets.com or off of ebay? Any advice would be helpful.

Almost a year ago after hurricane Katrina sent the gas prices soaring, the Taxi Limo Comm wanted to impose a surcharge for fuel, which they promised to revoke it back as soon as the prices go down. It was promised that the surcharge isn't going to be permanent. Did they impose it and if so, did they revoke it back eventually? Was the promise kept?

Question No 2. There's another surcharge being imposed now for slow and stopped traffic. Is this justified?

Thanks to all who answer.

Hello, Im moving from Miami, FL to Spring, Tx. Bought a house in a new community called Country Lake Estates, located off Louetta and Kuykendahl.

How is this area? I wasnt impressed when I first got there because of all the commercial areas mixed in with residential,. but I got a killer deal on a new house that was 3800 Sq Ft.

How is this area to raise a family? I hear Klein is great, but how are the surrounding areas? If i go to the local grocery store will I feel safe? My wife stays home while I travel for work sometimes and want to feel that she is safe. My community is not gated, so is that bad? Home invasions? Just want to feel comfortable in the area.

I'm traveling to Minneapolis from California this Sunday for one week to take a training class and want some tips. I'm not used to cold weather. I love California weather. It was a little shocking to me when I checked the current temperatures in Minneapolis. I'll be staying at the Hampton Inn in Bloomington, MN. Please let me know if you suggest any good restaurants around there. What are some of the cool things to do there. Thanks.

I am staying in Chicago for a week at a conference and would love to find some really good second-hand book shops - particularly those that you can really browse in and find great stuff that isn't over-priced. If anyone could also provide addresses or location to the trains (El) that would be very helpful, thank you.
