On Tue Dec 26th, on our way to North Carolina, I want to take my 9 year old son to Union Station to see the train exhibit. I think he will also get a kick out of a ride on the Metro. My question is where would be my BEST station to board as far as safety, cost and parking convenience, etc?
The ideal station would be on or close to 95 or 495 (no preference) and have a minimum amount of transfers to/from Union Station. Thanks

Specifically Jamaica though. Would I be able to find decent apartments there? What about the nightlife? Clubs, parties?

It's almost noon in Vegas, I have all day and all night and I fly out tomorrow morning at 5 AM. What should I do for the rest of my time here? I only have about 100 bucks left that I can gamble with so gambling won't last me all day if I lose it. I have a car. I also have some Christmas shopping to do - where should I go for that?

Has anyone visited Legoland during the holiday break between Christmas and New Years. We usually visit in January when the kids are in school. The park is empty in January, will we be in for a shock after having the park to ourselves. How crowded, long wait times for rides?

I'll be going to Vegas in march for the fourth time. I"ve never rented a car before, but thinking about doing it this time. I found some deals at $140 a week, pretty cheap i think. Think it's worth the trouble, and is it hard parking at the casino's?

Well I know that at 18, you can do ALOT more then someone younger, and less then a 21 year old. I know when your 21 you can drink and gamble and all the stuff an 18 year old can do, but WHAT CAN AN 18 YEAR OLD DO IN VEGAS to begin with?

Anyone know what the tall, pointy glass building is, just off I-95 at exit 150? It was just recently built...you can see it east of the interstate...it looks kind of like a huge sundial (?) , with a steeple shaped point sticking up at an angle. I keep driving by it, but never have time to stop to see what it is.

I got a new job and have to move across country. I am driving from Northeast Ohio to Portland Oregon on January 1st. I was wondering if anyone had done this and what route I should take. I can either go I-80 towards Omaha then jump on I-90 through South Dakota, Monatana, and Washington. The other option is to take I-80 all the way to Salt Lake and then take I-84 to Portland. The are both 36 hours. I was just wondering which one would be a better drive? Thanks.
