Has anyone visited Legoland during the holiday break between Christmas and New Years. We usually visit in January when the kids are in school. The park is empty in January, will we be in for a shock after having the park to ourselves. How crowded, long wait times for rides?

We went about 2 years ago during this time and it was crowded for the park. They only have their real holiday events during this week. We didn't go last year but I have heard that their attendance has leveled off so it not be as bad anymore. Weather will be a big factor though if it is raining or a possiblity of rain the crowds will be less.

They always seem to have slow load times so even with a medium crowd the lines might take quite a while to get on the rides.

Your best bet would probably be to go mid-week Wed/Thursday. You will probably get between the two weekend crowds.
