If you've stayed there or even better-work there. I'm thinking about sending my resume. But I haven't been able to find anyone's contact name. I just got an associate's degree in Travel and Hospitality and would really like to work for a hotel (in queens if possible). And please don't answer by telling me how horrible it is to work in hotels, my mind's made up.

Thank you.

im trying to purchase an ariline ticket for my husband who is in augusta, but i dont know wether it would be better to buy the ticket out of atlanta, which is cheaper, but then id have the price of the fare from augusta to atlanta....or if it would be better to just fly from augusta and bypass the cost of the cab!! does anybody know the cab rate for that distance?

I currently live in NJ with my wife and 3 kids... in about 8 years we are looking to get out of NJ and move someplace greener and warmer - in the SC area.... but we have no friends or family in the area and its such a large state - its not like you can take a ride down and "check out out"... I'd like to live someplace that nice but inexpensive... so, not like a resort area like near the beach... how would one go about finding out details about a nice little town to move to?

I will be travelling to Miami to join a cruise at FL later this month..

I have not been able to secure a transfer from Miami Airport to a Hotel in FL for an overnight stay - Is this easy to do from the airport ?

I assume that a taxi would be sufficient - but having never travelled to USA before, I am not sure about Taxi restrictions/Pricing etc.

Any info anybody can provide would be appreciated..

Does it depend on the time of day/year? I know taxis are harder to get at some times. But what will it cost me? I am staying at the Golden Nugget, and I know I will want to go to the strip at least once!

I have been to America 4 times and every time I am baffled by the fact that the doors on your toilet cubicles have gaps down each side, which makes a very personal visit to the lavatory, rather public! I find it embarrasing. Is there a reason for it? The restrooms at the airports are the worst for it, but i found it like that in a lot of other places. Also the cubicle doesn't go very near to the bottom of the floor, but just past the top of the toilet. There is no privacy... what is going on???
Ps Apart from the restrooms, America is wonderful, have loved my holidays there and can't wait to go back. New Orleans was amazing ( oct 06) they are up and running and ready for buisness and need tourists so get yourself along there!)
