Okay I need ideas for a 2-4 day trip with my hubby and we live near Seattle. I have already been to San Juan Islands many times, Victoria, Leavenworth, Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Baker, Vancouver, Harrison Hot Springs (Canada), Sumas,,,etc.
Can anyone give me any ideas? (I don't think we'd like Whistler too much, we don't really want to ski).

Like maybe are there overnight Puget sound Cruises, or what else?

These are both industrial cities. One is noted for automobile manufacturing and the other has(had) a strong base in the steel industry. Of the two, which one is more grimey, dirty, soot stained, and ugly?

After 7pm, Friday, what are the fun things to do in/close to downtown Seattle? Don't say movies. Food ... that's easy to figure out but if you have a suggestion, go ahead. Thanks!

I'm planning a family vacation and have two to three days to explore areas outside of Las Vegas. Most of what I have found are daytrips. Any suggestions for places to stay at nearby lakes? I'm not finding much online for lodging other than hotels, which would be fine if it's right on a lake. After several days in Sin City, we're looking for a few days to unwind and slow down. Anything within a four hour drive would be great!

We've already got two days and one night on the calendar for Grand Canyon.
