I had heard a while ago about a possibility of New York city becoming its own state. As a native New Yorker I find this possibility tantalizing. New York city is closed off from the rest of its state and most people at least the ones i know are disconnected from the upstate anyway. What do you think??

So I'm going on vacation, and the check-in time for the hotel is 3pm. So does that mean I have to be there right AT 3pm, or does that mean anytime after that? Thanks :)

My sister and I are looking to go up for my birthday. I would like to know where the cheaper places are in the upper east side area, maybe soho. Also tell me about your worst/best stays up there. Thanks for your time. Also if you live there what are good things to do? Funniest thing that has also happened to you while in city easy points.

Is there any way to check on road conditions of I-15 going to LV from LA? I'm leaving on Dec. 17 and want to check before I leave to find out whether I need to buy chains.

If my boyfriend and I get married (which we plan to do) I will be moving down to Weston, FL (in the Fort Lauderdale area) to live. I have grown up in an area where it does get hot and humid in the summer, but not as badly as I've heard Florida does. I hate humidity and prefer cool over hot, though I can deal with hot weather if there is air-conditioning. Is this flat out a bad decision for me? Does anyone know if the Weston area specifically gets extremely humid in the summer? Is it so bad that air-conditioning does not temper it?...

We live near Tampa, and I don't want to drive all day, but I'd like to take him somewhere fun or interesting. Not a big tourist attraction. And, definitely not to Orlando or anything Disney. Any ideas?
