The cheapest month to go is during December, to be more specific the 2 weeks following the National Finals Rodeo(NFR) up until the weekend before Christmas...This year the "golden days" are from the 10th until the 22nd...Room rates are very low, most hotels offer specials during that time that are much lower than any other rates of the year...
There are times during November and January that are slow...The room rates during the summer months are "generally" lower than spring or fall...
Luxor is running a special until the end on January, many days are $59, $99 weekends...Promo code>(PDNY1)
The best summer rates I found and booked so far are from the 28th of May until the 1st of June...I booked those four nights for $24 per at Orleans>they match any online rate you find http://www.orleanscasino.com
The best way to get great room rates is to start checking well in advance...Hold a room when you find a good rate...Then keep on looking for better deals...

Well, I don't know if there is one. I fly there every few months. As far as airlines go, it just depends on what's going on with gas prices, etc.
Hotels: Vegas is one of the most popular convention capitals of the world - so it's always busy. But the cheapest month MAY be part of November, before Turkey Day and the beginning of December before the Holiday. :)

The cheapest months to stay in the major hotels on the strip is November and December.
The reason the answer has two months is because they are both equally cheap, depending on the week you go.
The two weeks before Christmas are very cheap, as is the week before Thanksgiving.

I've heard summer is the cheapest time to go, because of the terrible heat.

August is when you will find the best deals. It is very hot this time of year and people tend to stay away as much as possible, even the natives. This is the time of year that the hotels will host tournaments to attract people.
