when you get your cheese steak you have to get it from geno's on 9th and passyunk/warton st. Pats isnt bad but Geno's blows them out the water, plus the lighting is better. The are museum is pretty cool...thats where rocky ran up the steps. Also i would suggest going to old city (front and south st) there's all kinds of nice resturants and bars that are alot of fun....if you go to fat tuesdays which is a big thing you have to get a high octane its what they are famous for! you'll love it!....you can always pop by the independace hall and see the liberty bell, and you could go to the gallery, do a little shopping....its kinda ghetto but theres stuff that you can buy there and on south st that you've never seen before............have fun OUR city is the BEST city ever!

I've never been there myself...but I know about some things there. How about the famous Ghost Tours? Or the National Constitution Center? Or The Philadelphia Doll Museum? Or the City Tavern...Philly's most famous Inn! Sounds like you're gonna have some fun!

Try first capitol of the USA. The place where the Declaration of Independence was first signed and the Constitution was written. The first colony in America based on true liberty and religious freedom, and the equality of all men, and the beginning of the abolitionist movement. Home of Rocky Balboa (the Rocky movies), Ben Franklin and so much more: first hospital, library, fire company, medical school...

Check out http://www.phillyfunguide.com/ and http://cityguide.aol.com/philadelphia/main.adp for more stuff to do, see (and eat) in Philly. Or if you have AAA, you can go to the local office and get their Philidelphia Tourbook. (If you don't, check your local library - they may have other tourbooks on Philly)

YEAY! The stairs that Rocky Balboa ran up in the movie!! Try it....it is easy to spot if you have seen the movie, and there is always some fool at the top doing the victory dance.

And also...the Mutter Museum....very famous. If your into the whole medical thing. There is a body of a lady who was buried in this soil with ceritan chemical properties and it turned her into soap! Also, they have John Wilkes booth brain there. A lot of deformed fetuses in jars, deformed skeletons, the worlds largest colon

you know....I highly reccomend it...its very educational.

In the food category, don't forget scrapple, soft pretzels and pepper pot soup.

Valley Forge National Park isn't too far away.

Oh yeah, Philadelphia Cream Cheese comes from Philadelphia, New York, not PA.
