Okay I need ideas for a 2-4 day trip with my hubby and we live near Seattle. I have already been to San Juan Islands many times, Victoria, Leavenworth, Portland, Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Baker, Vancouver, Harrison Hot Springs (Canada), Sumas,,,etc.
Can anyone give me any ideas? (I don't think we'd like Whistler too much, we don't really want to ski).

Like maybe are there overnight Puget sound Cruises, or what else?

I have two favorite road trips in Washington. The first is around the Olympic Peninsula. First stop would be Ocean Shores and the four or five beaches that are in Grays Harbor County. I love driving on the beach, watching the sunset from the car, and looking for bald eagles. Each beach has it's own characteristics. Then you could stay the first night in Ocean Shores. The next day, go to the Hoh Rain Forest and Ruby Beach. I would then stay as close as you can to Cape Flattery. Make that the excursion for day 3. Cape Flattery is the northwestern most tip of the continental US. It's beautiful! You could then stay in Port Angeles for the final night, get some great seafood for dinner, and if the weather allows it, go up to Hurricane Ridge the last day.

The other trip is the Cascade Loop. I know you said you'd already been to Leavenworth, but I'd also recommend stopping in Winthrop and the some of the great trails along the way. Deception Falls, Washington Pass Visitors Center, and my personal favorite, Diablo Dam. If you have time to do so, you could also drive slightly farther east and see Grand Coulee Dam - they have an awesome laser light show at night, telling the story of the Columbia River and the dam itself.

My last suggestion would be to go to the Oregon Coast. I love Cannon Beach and Tillamook...

Whatever you decide, have a great trip!
