My family of four (kids ages 5 and 11) have airline miles built up for a trip next spring/summer. We are trying to decide on places in the United States (the limitations of our miles). We must exclude our hometown of San Diego, Hawaii and we've already been to Orlando. Please include detailed info about why your pick is so great.

I am planning on traveling to Disney World in mid December, and wanted to know from people who live around there or have been @ that time, if the weather is okay around then? Also if the parks are crowded around then? I am sure they aren't but just wanted to ask... Thanks in advance!

Where does it feel nicer? Philadelphia has lower temps but much higher humidity all summer, and Phoenix has High temps/low humidity.

I never felt that hot dry desert heat in my life cause I live on the east coast, where some days the temp only goes down to like 80F with moderate to high humidity. and sometimes the fuses go out and you gotta sleep in that. Ew.

A few years ago I stayed in a room at the Sunset Plaza Hotel. It was at the back of the hotel, and had a huge balcony. It was a nice room, but I felt very unsettled in it. I felt I kept seeing fast movement in the room out of the corner of my eye, but on closer inspection I could find nothing that seemed out of place. I felt so uncomfortable in the shower that I bathed with the shower curtain open, and even then, I felt like I was seeing things move in the mirror. I know nearby locations, like The Comedy Store, have reported strange activity, but what about this hotel?

Next year (Dec 07) a group of my friends and I are heading to NY for our 30th birthdays and want to stay at a really cool hotel that isn't too expensive. So my husband comes home from basic and military training in December. I want to plan some romantic outings and I need a little help...

So what is there to do, to see, to visit in December in Connecticut, Mass, (mainly Boston....but anywhere near CT and Boston is good) and Rhodle Island (Block Island too maybe?)?

I love Boston, but never went in the winter time...and I've always wanted to go to the beach in the dead of winter, not sure if Rocky Neck is open..or anywhere else..I know Meridan, Ct has like a park they decorate with Christmas lights....i think?

Also if you could supply a website or two...it would be most appriciated! Thank you so much!
