Hi going to Orlando, (staying at Quality Inn Plaza, International Drive) at the beginning of November for 2 weeks, we had already bought our themepark tickets and are going to Discovery Cove. Okay, so I really want to move to a new city. I would love some suggestions of cool places to live. Right now Im considering Seattle, Portland and Austin, Texas. I'm in my 20s and am just looking for a change of pace from life in Virginia. Any fun cities that I should check out? Trying to take my son to a West Point football game and unbelievably, I can't find any direct info on how to get there from either the West Point website, Amtrak.com, or the Metro North schedules. For either Amtrak or Metro North, which is the closet train station? And once you get off the train, how do you get to the football stadium (walk? cab?)?

Tha BDF2 is being held in Burbank, CA. (12/8-12/10)

-I live in Portland, Oregon.
-I have no car.
-And my fellow Browncoat buddies are a little short on change, as it were.

I can't afford to fly, or take a greyhound on top of the cost of the weekend expenses.
I need ANYONE in, or near, the Portland area who will also be attending this shindig, who is willing to give this stranded Browncoat a lift. Or, if you know anyone who is and may be able to help out, please let me know. I'm will help with gas prices there and back.
