i would go directly to the Disney Web site. If you check frequently, you might find some good specials. I have gone for the past 2 years and received the dining plan for FREE!!
there are many travel sites out there that specialize in Disney vacations, however, I have found it to be a little cheaper by booking the resort & magical express directly with Disney (getting admission tickets as part of the package). I then book my airfare directly through my favorite airline's website, then I call Disney travel to give them my flight information, so they can arrange my Magical Express. (which is transportation from Orlando Int'l Airport right to my resort of choice)
Good luck!

Try hitting www.disneyworld.com. This is the main site and will give you a general idea of the costs. You can plan your whole trip through the website and save it so you can make adjustments as necessary before you book. Then, if you wanted, you could call your agent and ask them to price it out for you as well. My agent can usually get a better deal.
I also buy Birnbaum's Guides to Disney World. They have a few different versions and manage to give lots of great tips and ideas for your stay. I think they have the main Disney World guide, then one For Kids, By Kids, Disney World without Kids and Disney World Dining Guides. They puclish yearly and I buy the ones I need and then glance through the others while at the bookstore.
Money saving tips...
Use the Magical Express transport from the airport.
Look into the Dining Plans.
Get a Standard View Room...how much will you really be in your room, but sometimes they will upgrade for free!
Go during the off-season.
Ship down a box of goodies and stuff before you go...save money on snacks and everything.
Make a list of who you want gifts for before you go.
Make your own autograph books, rather than buy one. I did and my son loved it more than any of the ones we could have bought. Or I will make it for you!
Don't rent a car...if you plan on staying on the property the whole time, you don't need a car.
Look around the entire park before you buy stuff, sometimes you will find even better stuff elsewhere in the park. Or if you have a park hopper pass, look around all the resorts. Each park and resort have their own uniquie stuff, but they also carry alot of generic Disney stuff too.
Make a list of things you want to see and do and try to stick to it as much as possible. I made a list of things at each park I wanted to do with my son. That way I didn't waste time looking for rides he man or may not be tall enough for.
Use Disney's Fast Pass.
Get a Photo Pass card. I did that and had picture taken all over the place. I would say there were over 100 photos on the card and rather than just buy the ones I liked, they transferred them all to a CD for $100. Now I have all of them and I didn't have choose between all the good ones. That was my best purchase.
And...look for sales in the shops...yes the do have sales!
Have a great time!

Best all-inclusive Disney stay is to book with Disney. If you are on a budget, I recommend Disney's value resort, the All Star. Or one of their moderate resorts, like the Coronado Springs or Port Orleans Riverside Resorts.
You can also check out my Disney Vacation Services Website, which lists fun tips and a helpful planning service which is updated monthly! Visit I'm All Ears at:
