To build upon Marna S.'s statements, the drive from Baltimore MD to Fort Ann, NY, is not a short one! Since I've done it (on my way to Vermont), I'd estimate that it'd take you about 7.5 hours to drive it. The questions was about flights, so I agree with previous answer: you're best route for flying is BWA to Albany, then drive the hour to Fort Ann. (Boy, am I ever wondering why there, but I guess it's none of my business. If it's for the outlet shopping, please just go up to White Marsh!) For cheap flights, try www.kayak.com.

your best fares will be from Baltimore to Albany; there's enough competition for reasonable rates. Albany's about 40-50 miles from Fort Ann.
Glens Falls is a closer airport, but will have fewer - and more expensive - choices. Glens Falls is about 10 miles out.
Albany offers a range of car rental places; Glens Falls may only have Enterprise, but taxis should be cheaper from GF.

Since New York and Baltimore are so close together, it would be much cheaper to drive a small compact car.
