I'm looking especially for lodging. We are interested in touring a mission, the govornor's mansion, and Sutter's Fort. I don't want to spend over $125 a night. We have about 5 nights to do the trip, at the beginning of January.

Hi I have two questions.....

What do the people in Maine do for fun? And what do they do for careers? Both of these need to involve the nature around it. (eg. in Florida, swimming is used for leisure, and this involves the land)

My friends and I are going to take a trip to NYC this october and were only going to be there for 5 days. For those of you who have been there or live there, what are some of the things that we absolutely, positively cannot miss out on?(we got some youngsters in our group, so nightclubs and bars out of the question) Also, if you know of any great photo stops that would be great too. Thanks!!!!

I got a ticket turning right on a red light from a traffic camera. I was in a hurry and probably did not stop, just slowed down before making a right.I think its totally unfair that I have to pay $350 when there was no sign which says that right turn on red is not allowed. I really want to fight this. I have these options
1.I say the person in the pic isnt me, It is me but its not very clear.
2. Fight saying that there was no sign or red arrow which makes it illegal to turn right on red.
3.Fight it though mail which is possible according to ticketassasin.com (did anyone fight the court this way?)
Which is the best option? I really dont want to pay this fine, I have had 2 speeding tickets and I paid right away since I knew I was wrong, and I have been driving very carefully since.

I'm wondering if the child is small do they sit in your lap or by themselves. It looks like there is only room for one person. He meets the height requirements but he's only 5 and think he would rather ride WITH someone. If not, we will just do the trade off thing and my husband and I go seperate while the kids stand with either one of us. My younger child is not tall enough.

I'm in a heated debate as to whether Oklahoma is above, or beside Texas. Dont tell me it's both! I say above because ALL of Okie is above. Just tell me simply, above or beside.

I may be moving to Portland OR next year.
I am a nurse
I am a lover of the arts, music, and eclectic/bohemian culture.
I do not drive so I would need an area with great pubic transportation. What areas are safe, eclectic, and affordable?
Thanks!
