i know this seems like a raunchy ploy to get 2 points...but i'd love to go to the hamptons :) but never been, and don't live in NY. sorry :-/

HEAD UPSTATE NEW YORK OR POCONOS. i truly miss the beautiful counrty. hamptons is a great evening for a date nice restaurants and just as beautiful to. i stayed away from the city to busy for me but greenage village is a must. got my nose pierced there once. i miss knishes and a real slice of pizza and the breakfast sandwiches.you only live once so do it all and make up your own mind. have fun.

Yeah, they are beautiful... but I haven't been out there in years. I wish I could get away more often than I do. I think that the area up around Cape Cod, Nantucket, or the beaches in NH or Maine are great too.
