Hey guys. My family and I (my husband, my 3 daughters, and myself) just moved to the Austin area from Washington State... What is there to do around here?? For family, and for a girls night out!!?

I know it's expensive and traffic is horrible. The jobs I'm considering are located in the Dulles VA area. What are some places that I can live that are safe, won't cost a kidney, and near public transportation? Does that place even exist?! All help is appreciated.

I live in Atlanta(hate it) and will be graduating soon. I want to move to either St. Louis or Chicago. I lived in St.Louis when i was younger and parents still live there. Ive been to Chicago once for a day and i liked it. Its hard to get a feel for the city simply by reading about it online and from my one day visit. Whats it like? The type of city it is? Is it dog friendly? Much to do? Too big too small? The people nice, rude, happy? Activites: what type of person does the city cater too?

Can anyone help me make my decision?

How bad were the cemeteries hit in New Orleans by Katrina? Are there still tours of the area? I want to travel around the Halloween season, any interesting places related to ghosts,etc.? I have a freind he will be in New York this Monday (Aug. 21) through Thursday (Aug. 24th) on buisness. He will have the evenings to do whatever and he is having a difficult time trying to get directions and know what things to see or do while there. He is 43 years old, he will also have a rental car for transportation. We live in a little heck town in Illinois. He is looking to get the most out of this as possible. Anyone available to help him find his way around please let me know...this could be a great expierence for him if he had the right person to do this for us. Also he'll have the money to do/see thing w/. He is single and no kids. Very well to do.
