All of the clubs MattD did list are gay clubs. Krave is way fun though, and lots of great people - its a mixed alternative club. Lots of hot goth/tattooed girls, if you're into that.
What kind of club depends on what you're looking for. Looking to rub elbows with the rich and famous? Ghostbar at the Palms - no VIP section, lots of celebs just hanging like everyone else. Don't fawn over anyone or else you look like a total goober.
Have more money then sense? Go to Light at the Bellagio, where everyone is perfect. Again, celeb-heavy and the drinks will cost you a fortune, but kinda cool just to see.
I had fun at Studio 54 in MGM Grand with some friends before. Good music, good dance floor.
A great off the strip place to go for a drink (and dinner) is Carluccio's Tivoli Gardens (1775 East Tropicana), not only is the food phenomenal (and cheap!), but the bar was designed by Liberace! So tacky it must be seen to be believed!
If you're bringing a date (or you find one here) the best place for a late night make out session is the Peppermill. Its been voted as best place to make out for years here, and for good reason.

Pick up one of the listings papers as the hot clubs and bars will change frequently.
Don't buy a call girl as it will end up very expensive.

If you want to go to a club, make sure you go during the weekend because most are closed at the beginning of the week. I was just out there and since the clubs were closed I went to the bar outside of Harrah's (I think it's called Carnival, or something like that). It was a lot of fun, the bartenders do tricks with the bottles and they have a small floor to dance on with a DJ. Get a few drinks in you and you'll have a great time...Just so you know, a lot of the clubs and bars are 21+ (all might be, I'm not sure).

Matt, I would be able to better answer your question if you provide some more detail. Are you looking for nightclubs or lounges? Are you coming out with your buddies or with a girl?
Also, what night? Oh by the way, the clubs do not close. I don't know when one of the previous posters was out here, but the general rule in LV is that NOTHING CLOSES- EVER!

PURE at Casears Palace or you can try to get into the Club atop the Palms Hotel (huge lines and very crowded)

unless you are gay don't listen to mattd. all the clubs he listed are faag clubs.
