Are there shuttles/taxis available from Sault Ste. Marie to either ferry departure or do I need to rent a car?

I am visiting some friends in Nashville the 1-4 Sept. I've never been there and need some fun ideas of things to do. The opry mills is out of the question as I hate the mall- and besides you can find a mall any where. What I am really looking for is if I'm never going to be in Nashville again - what are the things I HAVE TO DO ?

I am looking to spend the Labor Day weekend in Savannah, GA, and hoping to get some good last minute deals on hotels. Does anyone know of any hotels in that area that have special holiday packages? I'd love to stay at a historic inn/hotel if possible, but if not, a regular hotel would do too. Thanks ahead of time! =)

I am looking for a cozy cottage for 2 in Cape Cod. I know nothing about the area (haven't been there since I was a kid) and don't know which part is best - heard there is the Upper Cape, Mid Cape and Lower Cape...

Does anyone personally know of any cute cottages, pref. waterfront and in the middle of everything?

When I flew to Sacramento by way of Chicago, I saw a design on the ground (probably near Reno, NV). The pilot mentioned all the points of interest except that one. This was in the mid 1980's. No telling if it's still there or not. I haven't been that way since. I thought maybe it was the Painted Desert.

The uniform makes them look more like bell-hops or bus-boys/girls. I truly prefer the grays that they are currently wearing. Any feedback?

Hi, I am thinking about moving from California to Houston to go the UofH to get my masters degree in hospitality. My question is "Do Houstans hate Californians?" I know this is a problem in the deep south. I am a republican if that helps. :) Tell me about the city...good areas, bad areas. I would love to live in a quiet community, maybe with a golf course (I love to golf!) Also, I have heard that the city has "gone down" since Katrina due to the large masses of unemployed people coming from NO. Is it really as bad as the media says? Is the City of Houston doing anything to correct this problem (if there is one)? Thanks everyone.

im planning on moving to palm springs, ca at the end of the season from my job on the alaska railroad. the easiest and cheapest way to get there would be to drive my truck down there. but i was told that i would not be able to drive past the gates of canada by myself. is that true? (taking a plane is not an alternative option, because i cannot leave my truck behind in alaska)

I (and a friend of mine.. She's 25, damn her! lol) am going to Vegas in October for a Placebo concert at the HOB.. From what I'm seeing, there aren't many "clubs" or whatever for someone under 18... Is there anything else that I could check out? For the most part, I'll just be there a night or two at the most, but still.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
