You will need to drive South from Wisconsin to get to I-70 going West, which will probably take you a full day. Then from St Louis or Kansas City on I-70 to Denver is a full days' drive. Then from Denver on I-70 West to I-15 in Nevada and on to Las Vegas is a good 12 hours drive. So if you drive long days, i.e., 12 hours or more, you can drive it in 3 days, other wise 4 days.

I have driven to Vegas many times from the East coast; MD and NC, on I-70 and I-15. Roads are good. Its boring driving through Kansas and Missouri and Eastern Colorado. But once you get to Denver the scenery is great all the way to Vegas,
