I don't think so. More likely than not, the increase in the price of gas people more attuned to the weather after Katrina all play into people traveling.
Also, the increase in ticket price at WDW and Universal have made some folks rethink there vacation plans.

If that's true I haven't noticed. I live so close to the parks I can see (and hear) the fireworks each night. Traffic is just as heavy as normal, which indicates that the "mouse" is still drawing them in by the droves.

I doubt if it really is "off". Perhaps less people are flying due to recent scares, or if fewer people are driving due to gas prices, I think they will balance each other out....the non-flyers will drive, and the non-drivers will splurge on airfare!
No one could me away from the House Of Mouse.
