Specifically S. Broad at Washington?

I know it's largely Italian (with a few other ethnic backgrounds) and I'm from a pretty diverse part of S. Florida so I just want to know is there much racism in this part of town? I'm only asking b/c I am in an interacial relationship (soon to be married) and we have had problems b4 in certain cities we have lived before (i.e. New Orleans...but only in certain areas, but I still love that city!)

Also, i'm a grad/professional student and I want to know will it be okay for me to come home after 10pm and not get attacked. I'm not stupid I've lived in major cities before but I have just heard so many conflicting opions on the web.

I have other areas in mind, but I was looking at a nice place in this location. But, I am open to other suggestions (except University City b/c I don't want to be surrounded by undergrads).

Will be in Vegas for business trip by myself - don't want to go to a strip club, but want to go to a lounge/casino show/bar/club to witness some female skin. Any suggestions? Has anyone been to Forty Deuce or Tangerine? Worthwhile or too tame?

I'm considering a career move from Raleigh, NC to the Oakland area. I'm 42 with wife & two children (10 & 4). Good schools are a must. Of course I'd like to minimize my commute and housing expense, but I pretty sure those are going to be painful.

Please share the pros and cons to living there. I have family in Lancaster. My wife and I are thinking of moving from Las Vegas to either Lancaster or Rosamond. Las Vegas is too big, too dirty, and too stressful (and too hot!). We would like to know if AV is a good place to raise a family.

I am a 26-m-Tenn, usa. I have a dream to live rigth on the road. And staying in Campsites around America. Here is how I plean on doing this.
Step 1) Get 1 GOOD are maybe 2 FAIR paying "online job/s"
setp 2) get me some type of small pull behine camper I can pull with a 99 Fd Ranger.
Step 3) Get my bells payed all online are out of my checking account.
Step 4) Get a sattalite ISP
