About 5-6 hours it all depends on the winds and if the pilot decides to push it.

LAX is in Cali. right? If it is about 5 or 6 hours maybe. I know it took my cousin about 20 hours to fly from Germany to Ohio then to Oklahoma. But she had to switch planes. Don't know for sure about from LAX to Hawaii...

I did that once. The pilot said it would take about 5 and a half hours. But with all the Samoans on the plane (they bought coolers full of food), the ride seemed like 45 minutes!
The Samoans shared their stuff and we wound up having one big hellacious luau on the plane! I think the pilots even got into it! I forgot who in the he** was driving the plane when we landed.
