Don't EVER stay on Fremont. You will be risking you life every second. I used to live there and even the locals wouldn't be caught dead down there (unless they were looking for some hardcore drugs). If you are looking for a good pool, Hard Rock Hotel. By far, the skimpiest bikinis... You may even catch a glimpse of some celebrities there. It is their favorite hangout. I worked there for 3 years and saw every celebrity I ever wanted to. The rooms are very nice and the party never stops there. The pool was #1 in the world on the travel channel... and they have swim-up blackjack...:) On Sundays they have a HUGE pool party all day called Rehab. Don't leave Vegas till you have been to Rehab!!!!

Fremont St is old downtown and the only pool worth mention is at the Golden Nugget, but pales in comparison to the Strip hotels.

Hard Rock has the best pool for glamorous babe watching. It has been featured on many Best of Las Vegas destinations.
Running in second place is the Palms' pool where Rain is a hot dance location.

Just by mentioning a pool says your first time in Vegas should be in a flashy strip hotel. The strip is where the action is. That's where all the new, impressive theme hotels are. Downtown has older hotels.

Forget Fremont street. Try MGM or Rio. If you are a young single guy, the Palms or Hard Rock.

Mandalay bay I think has the nicest pool and Hard Rock the most fun but when I see the "SNACKUS MAXIMUS" snack bar at Ceasar's I always breakout laughing...see if they will let you just look at the Ceasar's pool it is awesome.....

I love the Monte Carlo (on strip by NY, NY & MGM)!!! It has five pools to chose from: wave pool, lazy river, regular pool, hot tub, etc.
