Charleston, West Virginia; because that's where I grew up i the 50's and 60;s. It has all changed now, but, still, the State capitol there is the most beautiful in the nation, as it sits along the Kanawha River, with the mountains in the background.

Andover, Maine. the all and sundry is so friendly. Least well-liked is new york. human beings have been driving around soliciting for money to purchase gas!!! No lie! It became the funniest think of ever! i visit new york in 2 days however to undertake a dogs :)

Las Vegas, NV, hands down. Its a 24/7/365 town that is always open. I go 3 or 4 times a year every year.

Chicago. Despite it's dirtiness, something about it is beautiful to me. The fact that it's skyscrapers are such a stark contrast to the naturalness of the lake and the river makes for a gorgeous skyline.
