i was gonna go on a train and my dad wasnt sure if he wanted me to go. he thought i might get kidnapped. but my parents are gonna drop me off at the station and my aunt is gonna pick me up. im 12 years old (almost 13). do u think im too young to be traveling on a train alone??

No, you will be fine. Make sure that you have your name, address and phone number for your parents and grandparents written down and kept in a safe placec on you so that if something unusual does happen ... LOL. like the train has a flat tire ..LOL, they know who to contact.

can you keep yourself from getting kidnapped? kick the guy in the shins, nads, instep, toes etc... don't let a stranger touch you, you are old enough to fight back and scream and stuff. can't tell if you are old enough to travle alone, I did to camp and back when I was 11 and never had a problem. I traveled alone by bus and train and plane and no one bugged me. but I'm a guy, I guess if your a girl it might be differnt.

I think you will be OK...let the conductor know where you will be getting off. Do not talk to strangers.

just make sure the conductor knows about you. They will keep an eye out.
