Does anyone visit the Holmbush Tesco Shoreham-by-sea,U.K.?
Do you agree that Tescos have peaked and that they are just too greedy, snatching all the sales from independent high street retailers?Soon we will have monstrous hypermarkets and no individual high street shops.

I'm traveling to Bangkok in December. I don't plan to do much sightseeing, as I am actually having surgery. I want to know how to dress without getting in serious trouble. I was considering wearing a skirt, especially on the plane (24 hours of flying) because I don't think I'd feel comfortable wearing jeans for that long.

It's short, but I don't know if I'd describe it as mini. It's maybe about 4 inches above my knee (mostly because I happen to be very tall). Would this be ok without horribly offending people to just go through the airport, maybe go get take out or other food shopping while I recover, etc?

It seems this is a new hotel and I cannot find any reviews. If you have stayed here, can you tell me pros and cons about this hotel?

We are a grp of 4 frnds (1 cupl) planing to go. Is it safe? Primary reason is to shop, is it worth the effort. The Wikitravel page quotes dangers and prices that are very similar to India.

I'm going to Hua Hin, 3 hours south of Bangkok. Not sure whether to take our own and pack it in the already over-heavy bags or whether I could buy it out there?

My girlfriend will be meeting me in thailand the 2nd week Im there so no more golf, but where is a good place for couples to go and see, relax, and just chill? Does anyone know of a site where I can find real authentic style Thai recipies?? I have tried searching, But am just finding sites that have very westernised variations of the cooking (e.g. lots of fried, fats, oils, sugars etc) and authentic thai is very healthy and lean.. I'm sick of the western culture always adding extra fat and sugar in everything, No wonder obesity is a prob... (sorry for the rant !) But anyone that knows of a good link that is in english (I came across a few site that looked good but they were in thai) or if you would like to share your own thai recipies It would be greatly appreciated.. :) Thanks!
