You have to book it soon if you use www.asiarooms.com, they have a 3 day requirement.
Royal Hotel Bank at 2 stars and Viengtai Hotel at 3 stars both have pools and are a 5 minute walk to Khao San Road.
Try also www.thaihoteldiscounts.com they have good rates but, may not have the same selection as AsiaRooms

try the Royal Hotel around the block from Khao San Road. It's about 1,000 a night with buffet style breakfast and swimming pool. Have stayed there about 3 times but you need to be fast to cross the road at rush hour.

Khao San Road guest houses are basically low rent, for backpack travelers. I doubt you'll find any with a swimming pool, you're lucky if you get a room with a bed AND a chair in it (at the same time).

I doubt you will find what you are looking for in kao san rd try some of the hotels on sukkomwit rd i am sure you will find what you are looking for there.
