Tourist attractions around Radisson Hotel (Rama IX)?

I will be staying in the Radisson Hotel (Rama IX) next weekend, and would love to see as much as possible in 2 days. What are the closes and best:
Muy Thai stadiums
Nightlife
Temples
Any other interesting Sites

Egads change your reservation to either Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel or The Emerald Hotel it is more convenient unless you are there for a convention or something. You will end up taking a taxi everywhere and that is not convenient. The Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel is right there on Rama IX and Ratchapisek Road and the Emerald Hotel is up the road on Ratchadapisek Road and both are near MRT subway stations.

Muay Thai is at the Lumphini station of the Subway at the Lumphini Boxing Stadium

Nightlife is along Sukhumvit some the Sukhumvit Station of the Subway to Nana Station on the Skytrain. At the Sukhumvit Station about 50 feet is Soi Cowboy where the Go go places are. At the Nana station is Nana Plaza again the go-go bars.

Temples, I found the Gold Dome and the Grand Palace great examples of the sights to see in Bangkok.

Go to MBK Center at the National Stadium station of the Skytrain. I think it is on the 4th or 5th floor, lots of stalls with souvenirs and cheap t-shirts. Or go to Central World Center or the Siam centers for shopping. There are a lot of stalls along Sukhumvit selling t-shirts and souvenirs too.

If you want a sex massage, then try the ones around Emerald Hotel. There are 5 to choose from walking distance from the Huay Khwang Station. Subway, Nataree, Emmanuelle, Caesars Entertainment and Hi-Class. Caesars could be the best place but, more expensive. The girls change so it is hard to say. Once in you are not locked in to choosing. Buyers market. You don't like it go to the next. Best time to go around 2-3 pm before the rush at 5-6 pm.

If you insist on using a taxi watch out if you go to a go-go bar or Massage parlor. The driver might try to talk you into going to somewhere he suggests, he gets a commission. So, if you go to the massage parlors, take the taxi to Emerald Hotel and then go to the massage parlors. Less hassle. If you go to Sukhumvit take the taxi to Robinsons at Soi 19 it's in the middle of the area and a good place to start.

From what I described above you can see why I suggest Grand Mercure or Emerald Hotel. It's just more convenient. When I first started visiting thailand I took a taxi cause it's cheap and airconditioned. But, the ride kept on getting longer and longer. From Emerald it would take 45 minutes to an hour at around 6 pm. to get to Robinsons. The subway 12 to 15 minutes To Lumphini Park, maybe 25 minutes, I don't want to think how long it would take by Taxi. If you are stuck at Radisson take the taxi to Fortune Town then take the subway to where-ever you plan on going. Or walk.

That should cover it. I will be there around Thanksgiving.
