I'm going to Hua Hin, 3 hours south of Bangkok. Not sure whether to take our own and pack it in the already over-heavy bags or whether I could buy it out there?

You can't buy the milk but you will be able to buy the baby food-There are boots stores in Thailand. There are quite a few in Bangkok that do sell babyfood.
Most shopping centres have a boots store and there are Tesco's in Thailand.
There are also stores called Robinsons which are run by M&S.
I've been travelling around Thailand with my baby-Just look out for english looking people and they will direct you.
Please note though,do not rely on Thai people to prepare your baby food cos they are very unhygenic, it is a very basic country in some parts.
If you like shopping check out Silom Road nite market and Patpong-
You'll love it.

Never been to Hua Hin but if they have a Tesco Lotus, Tops, or Big C (and there should be at least one of them there) then you can. Those supermarkets carry those products.

You can buy it there (Siam Square would be the best), but you're going to spend a good amount of time doing that. Bangkok's a big place. My advice is just to take it with you - 6 in one hand half a dozen in the other.
