hello guys. my first time posting questions here. hope to get some advice from you guys. i using singapore handphone to call thailand handphone. but couldn't call. example thailand no starts with 08594096XX so how should i dial it. what numbers should i add infront . hope u guys can help me. i need to call this number urgently. thanks for the help.

I am going on a round the world trip in May and I plan on staying in Bangkok for 3-4 weeks.
I intend to get to Bangkok (either from Ko Samui or London depending on which way round the world I go!) and then fly to Hanoi and go south, then through Cambodia and back to Bangkok again - so I will be visiting there twice.

Which area do you think I should stay in? I would like to do a few tours and also train at a couple of Muay Thai camps if possible as well.

Apparantly the international airport doesn't have much to do. I thought about going into Bangkok for a few hours, but I know nothing of the city. Is it okay for me to travel alone? Where should I go? What should I do? Any tips or advice? Or should I just find a good book and settle down for 8 hours in the airport?

I have called various phone numbers in Bangkok before, but I am not having luck dialing a phone number for a hotel in Hua Hin. The number is listed on the hotel's website in this form:

+66 (032) 123456

I typically add a prefix to the number of 011. But I get a dialing error everytime I try it. Any ideas?

Is 60 000 baht enough for 3 weeks?

I would like to buy a camera, a couple of tailor made suits, other clothes, acceseries... Eat decent food and enjoy the night life. Would like to stay in 3 star accomadation.

Have heard that everything is a bargain so one should take more than the expect to spend. Could you maybe brake the budget down into how much I would need for food/entertainment/accomodation and then how much for shopping?

Leaving South Africa on the 30th of November and returning on the 21st of December, so will be in thailand for approx 20 days. Bangkok for a few days and then the islands aroung Phuket??
