If you really really want the best in Bangkok - then it's The Peninsula Bangkok
333 Charoennakorn Road, Klongsan,
Bangkok 10600
It is the most luxurious hotel. Funny enough - it is not necessarily listed as the most expensive on many websites.
However, it is situated on the other side of the river from the main business and shopping areas which means you have to travel further to get to the city.
So it is a case of "Luxury" vs "a bit" out of the way

There are many luxurious hotels in Bangkok. The Peninsula Bangkok Hotel and the Oriental Bangkok Hotel are probably the most luxury ones, located by the riverside, but a little away from the city. Public transport is easily accessible though. Other luxurious hotels are Conrad Bangkok Hotel, Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel , Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and many many more. It is better to check the details of each hotel once more before making your booking as this is a very special occasion for you and you would want the best of it. I recommend you check out http://www.excelloz.com/index.html, where you'll be able to find descriptions of all the 5 star hotels. Good luck and enjoy.

The Peninsula, Mandarin, Shangri-la and The Oriental are consistently rated as a number of the final motels in Bangkok, if no longer the worldwide. That being stated, Bangkok has countless incredible 4-5 megastar motels available (i've got in my opinion stayed on the Sheraton Grande, Westin Grande, Amari side street, the two Le Meridien motels, etc.). i think of it greater often than not relies upon on which section you opt for to stay in Bangkok, it is a few thing you may desire to make certain directly to get the main of your holiday. close to the Chao Praya River? Sukhumvit? close to the river is enormous for atmosphere, while Sukhumvit is enormous for procuring and entertainment.

If in Bangkok...5 stars hotels all of them make themslves the differentiate.
Oriental..http://www.mandarinoriental.com/bangkok/..to be voted the best in service and atmosphere in Thai style and sure the price are luxary as well as it's name.
Sukhothai..http://www.sukhothai.com/..well design in Thai style. It's giving u the same mood as in Oriental but for my sight it's more peaceful, clamness but not much luxary if compare to Oriental. If u visit these hotel pls do not miss the chocolate here..It's very popular.

For honeymoon, I think the Sukhothai is the best. It is quiet and cosy. The Oriental, Peninsula, or Shangri-la are of course very good hotel however their lobby, breakfast restaurant, or pools are quite busy as they are huge hotels with many visitors.
