I've actually booked tickets to Bangkok, Thailand. I'll be flying off to Bangkok on this coming 28th Feb and i'm supposed to depart Bangkok on 7th March.

The problem is, in between this period, I have to fly over to Malaysia for a day. Say, I leave Bangkok for Malaysia on the 3rd of March, & go back to Bangkok on 4th March. And i'll continue to stay there 'til 7th March.

Will I have any problems at the checkpoint? Because I'll have a Bangkok visa in my passport and yet i'm flying over to Malaysia during my stay.

Just a quick summary:

SIN --> BKK --> SIN (previous plan)
SIN -->BKK-->KUL-->BKK-->SIN (new plan, possible?)

I'd be really really grateful if anyone can clarify my doubts. Thanks!

For instance, I went to Thailand two summers ago and it was great! Food was delicious, 4-star hotels cost only around $30 USD per night or less, and you could get a 2-hour massage for $6 USD! (In America, a 2-hour massage would easily cost $160+!)

So of course I got to thinking, why don't people just work for a little while and make some money, then go and retire in Thailand? Do people do this? It seems like people don't do it unless they're in the army and happened to be stationed there for a long time, or some reason like that.

I'm going there with my family around next week & reccently, there were reports about some bombings & arsonists burning classrooms down in south of Thailand. I asked around among my friends to see if they know Hup Chai is anywhere near the south, but wasn't given an accurate answer.
I wondered if there will be any muslim-like terrorists, or whatever you call them, in Hup Chai. Please help.

ive bought a ticket to fly to thailand dec4 06 -march15 07 this is over 3 months but i don't intend to stay in thailand that long,i thought i would get a 1 month visa on entry get an internal flight after that month to another country say india or australia then return back to thailand 4 the last month of my ticket, problem is the thai consulate web site says the conditions of receiving a 1month visa on entry is having lots of money ,no problem, having a return ticket dated in 1month from arrival, mine will say 15 march,if i change my ticket to satisfy the rules i will have to return early and wreck everything,are they really strict on having return tickets? ,thanks

I was introduced to Thai pop music years ago when I first visited Thailand ,way back when Internet hasn't even existed yet.Back then the most popular artists was Karabao, Rainbow, Thongchai the Bird and Asanee & Wasan. The latter was my favourite because their songs are even better than western songs! But today I'm so hopelessly out of touch with the current scene. Could someone tell me which singers/bands are the most popular right now in Thailand?
