I was based in Korat Thailand during 1960s in army, planning to visit there next year and would like if possible to hire a private investigater to trace old friends from that era

I was able to find 4 Thai private investigator websites that seem to be run by english speaking foreigners. I have not used any of them.

With this variety at least you can compare rates. Their main focus is doing background checks of thai girlfriends or wives.

try the vfw cafeteria there are still a lot expats from that era that may be able to help you out without you parting with any of your hard earned cash.

you have to visit the bars where the us/Australian veterans comes. They normally stick together and know each other also.
But its difficult.
The above investigators mostly look for cheating Thai girl friends.
