It depends on where your passport was issued or what nationality you are. For U. S. citizen, or passport issued in the U.S., you don't need a visa as long as your passport is valid for the next 6 months. And depending on where you will go to Thailand, you might also want to check if you need any kind of immunization - to be on the safe side.

Hi. I went to Thailand two years ago. no need for a visa. but you do need six months clear in your passport. I'm from the UK. Buy your clothes out their, prices are very good compared to us. Have a good time. it's hot in that part of the world.

If you have a British passport then you will not need a visa, I would assume you would need 6 months or more left on your passport.

probably depends on the nationality of your passport, but if you hold a US passport, you do not need a visa. there is a Visa desk when you arrive at the Bangkok airport, but I have never had to use it. You certainly do not need to apply in advance at an embassy for that type of visa.

No you dont, i went for three weeks without one. My girlfriend went for six weeks and she had to have one. You will love it by the way, its a brillient place. Oh by the way, if you go to Bangkok, and want to visit the Grand Palace, just remember that it is open 365 days of the year, it wont be shut for presidents day or anything like that. The taxi drivers will try to con you out of going in there, and to go on a waste of time trip round jewlers and suit makers etc. Yes i got conned
