Hi all,
So, a week ago I was on a vacation in Dubai...and I got about several hundreds dirhams left from there...but I noticed tha one of the bills (100 dirhams) has no silver seal on it??? I think it is fake and dont know what to do with it.
On friend of mine just told me that no all dirhams have silver seals on them and they are also legal and real...I think I am confused a little???

im looking for a chic hotel-style reasturant in the city of Alexandria, in egypt for a romantic quite dinner with my husband. i tried to google it, but the only things i find are reasturants in popular hotels, theres a lot of other great places that arent on the interenet, maybe somebody might know of experience. besides most reasturants here are fast food, or sit down, but just not very classy. HELP PLEASE!

I would like to hear from Egyptians or other Middle Eastern people about dating Westerners. I have been dating an Egyptian guy for a little while now and we are spending a lot of time getting to know each other. So far we haven't come across any serious barriers in terms of cultural differences etc. I am just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this type of intercultural dating? What do you think would be the biggest barriers? He is from Alexandria, can you tell me anything about what type of city this is (conservative, liberal etc.)? Are there any big cultural differences between Egyptian culture and that of other Middle Eastern countries? What are some things that I should consider or definitely ask him about to help me determine a little more about our compatibility?

Most Westerners believe this intercultural pairing is a joke and will never work because Middle Eastern men only want to use and abuse Western women. I would like to hear a different perspective...

We are thinking of holidaying in Tunisia this year with our two young children. We have never been before so any info would be appreciated. We are thinking of going to Sousse, Hotel Tej Marhaba Hotel looks nice in the brochure. Is the sea calm and safe for children. Hoping to do a bit of snorkeling in the sea with the oldest son can anyone tell us if the sea water is clear enough for this? Any other hotels that would be nice ? We will probably be self catering and wondered if there are any supermarkets near by that sell the basics. Have also read somwhere that alcohol is not for sale in Tunisia can anyone confirm this. Most of u criticize Bush for going after Saddam, a regime that terrorized his people, but yet the fello arab countries sttod by watching and did NADA.
Then u criticize Bush for the ugliness between the moslems themselves, and yet u remain on the side line.
Iran is talking smack, and i am dissapointed that we have not shut them up yet. Iran is the devil in disguise in that region. Their A@@ whipping is coming soon.
Give me one good reason why iran is good for ur country and the politics in ur country???? And please spare me the israeli issue, they are as human as u are, and tehy are entitled to live in that land as palestians are, there is enough land to go around and live side by side in PEACE!
