In South Africa, our only forest as such is the Titsikama forest. It is suitated just ouside George and Knysa, along what is known as the Garden route. Their is a signifcant amount of tourist information about this reserve on the Internet. However, in the Congo, formly known as Zaire, is Africa's most profilic forest. The movie "Gorrila's in the mist", would provide you with a very good perspective of the vegatation and nature of this forest.

I would suggest to look at the website I posted. I know it is for younger children but it will help you out for the basics. I usually referr to this website when I am preparing to fly to another country. By reading about another country, other than mine, it helps to understand that country's background, government, etc.
