Its an old sleepy town/city after DSM and Mwanza. It lies on the north coastal area adjasent to Mombasa.
It nice sorrounded by local fruits farms and sisal farms. Pangani is the best area and there are nice hotels to.

It's a beautiful country... you have Africas highest mountain Kilamanjaro on t he border with Kenya, the islands on the coast like Zanzibar, and fantastic Wildlife reserves like the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro Crater.
